The middle layer is a Poron, a urethane foam that will not collapse. It has a compression set value of only a few percentage, so it always returns to its original thickness, yet offers excellent cushioning. The bottom yellow layer Procell Plus is planar and naturally remains flat. We use this firmer EVA to hold the contour shape of the insole.
